# PrintCuro Connector v0.3.90 — Linux x86_64

Supported release target: Linux x86_64 with a desktop session and direct Epson USB access.

## Install USB rule

```bash
sudo cp 70-printcuro-epson.rules /etc/udev/rules.d/70-printcuro-epson.rules
sudo udevadm control --reload-rules
sudo udevadm trigger
```

Reconnect the Epson printer after installing the rule.

## Install the branded app launcher (recommended)

To show the same blue PrintCuro **P** used by the Windows app in the Ubuntu/GNOME app menu, dock and task switcher:

```bash
chmod +x INSTALL_LAUNCHER.sh
./INSTALL_LAUNCHER.sh
```

Then start **PrintCuro Connector** from the application menu. The installer is user-local and does not require root.

## Run directly

```bash
chmod +x PrintCuroConnector
./PrintCuroConnector
```

The window also sets the branded PrintCuro icon directly; installing the launcher gives GNOME a stable application identity for correct dock grouping.

The reset uses direct USB. Keep the USB cable connected until PrintCuro shows the final verified success screen.

Support diagnostics are stored locally under `~/.printcuro/connector/diagnostics/`. They contain compact result/timing summaries and no reset key or EEPROM request payload.
